Handmade tables using reclaimed wood.

After a long search, Brooklyn Farmtable has a new studio at 284 Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. (Map.)

For those that have not visited Red Hook, please come down for a spell. Red Hook is rich with history. The neighborhood, once a center of trade, fell into decline and disrepair from the 1960s through the early 1990’s. A group of enterprising artists, craftsmen, pioneers and shopkeepers have reclaimed its vibrant past and are attracting more and more residents, consumers and tourists to the neighborhood. Red Hook is home to a gaggle of chickens, an organic farm, great restaurants, a museum, a circus, a huge pool, parks, a fleet of kayaks, a port of call and the only FULL FRONTAL view of the Statue of Liberty from land in the five boroughs of New York City.

On a personal note, Ralph has lived in Red Hook for over ten years and he, his wife and children would not think of living anywhere else (at least for the moment!).
