Handmade tables using reclaimed wood.

How much do the tables cost?
The price for each table depends on the type of wood used, the size and any custom finishes or accessories. A basic 2” trestle or tapered leg table starts at $400 per linear foot for standard reclaimed Douglas Fir.

What is the order process?
After you select a table and put a 50% deposit down, we will complete the work. When your order is ready, we will contact you to arrange the precise day you would like to have the furniture arrive.

What type of finish is used on the wood and how do I maintain it?
Our finishes vary, but generally we use polymerized Tung oil stains and sealer. Tung oil has been used for thousands of years by the Chinese, and is recognized as one of the finest natural wood finishes in existence. Tung oil allows for the natural aging of the wood, which means that the table may shift colors over time. The finish is 100% natural and non-toxic and is very resistant to spills, rings, perspiring vases, and glasses. Maintenance requires simply wiping off with a soft damp cloth, however, wood conditioner (available from BFT) should be applied periodically (more often for well-trafficked surfaces).

What is the lead time?
We have a limited number of tables in stock, otherwise a table can take anywhere from 2 to 10 weeks depending on our current volume and your custom requests.

Do you make other custom furniture?
We are always willing to discuss our customers’ needs. We can fabricate almost any type of table, counter-top or cabinet. We do not currently make chairs but we do make matching benches. We have a line of chairs in development.

Do you offer a guarantee?
With proper care and maintenance, our work is guaranteed for three years (meaning that we will fix any defect not caused by failure to maintain the piece or by normal wear and tear).

Do you ship tables?
We ship anywhere in the US. We have sent tables to Colorado, Montana and Chicago. Shipping is not included in the price.

How do we get to your studio?
Red Hook is served by the B61 MTA Bus. (Map)
